Thought of Food: Hong Kong

After a couple of visits to a city you start acquiring favorite places for different activities: shopping, food, relaxing, etc. It is really tough to continue going back to the same food joints as you want to try different things. A couple of the places that I enjoy are Bang Bang Pan Pan and Nan Tei:

okonomiyaki...
very simple interior - 5 tables + bar
its DIY: you mix the eggs, lettece, items of your choice (meat, seafood, vegetables) and make them into a pancake, which you cook on the hot pan right at the table
and cover with mayo, special sauce, oregano, and some other stuff I dont know the name of
at last - nice funky monkey branding

Nan Tei Japanese Robatayaki joint - grilled food on skewers
very chilled place
dark and cozy

 these guys were sweating...
 I love Japanese neatness!!!
this is what it is all about - you order as many skewers as you like to try - most are delicious
a very cool light fixture - wooden block with integrated lighting that hangs down from the ceiling by the ropes
